Flexible Claw Couplings

Bipex flexible claw coupling is flexible, fail-safe universal coupling with very compact design, high power density. It can be very well suitable for plug-in assembly and lantern installation. It is available in 13 sizes ex stock with a torque range from 13.5-3,700 Nm. Type BWT with Taper bush for easy assembly and bore adaptation. BIPEX couplings of standard series BWN consist of two identical hub parts (material GG-25). The geometry of the flexible elements - closed flexible rings made out of polyurethane - and metal claws have been optimized so that no wear occurs at permissible deflection. BIPEX couplings have a very low torsional backlash and can be supplied with flexible elements of different flexibility. BIPEX couplings normally use in general engineering ; especially as high-speed coupling on motor side and for lantern installation, e.g. in hydraulic drives, geared motors, pump drives an drives for railway vehicles.
